Katie is a documentary filmmaker and investigative reporter with 20+ years directing, producing, reporting and writing projects for film, television, radio and online distribution. Her films have broadcast nationally on PBS Frontline, POV, Netflix, CBS, and NYT Op-Docs; have screened at New York MoMA’s Director’s Fortnight, the Film Society at Lincoln Center and on Capitol Hill and have launched online visual journalism sites including Field of Vision and The Marshall Project’s ViewFinder series. A four time Sundance Fellow and former Filmmaker in Residence at U.C. Berkeley’s Investigative Reporting Program, Galloway has taught Documentary Production at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and at U.C. Berkeley, where she received her Ph.D. in 2012. She lives in Los Angeles.
Don is the founder of Revolver, an award-winning producer of music-based film, video, live concert, webcast and documentary projects. From his earliest ventures directing for Canadian rock royalty acts Triumph, The Tragically Hip, and the legendary Leonard Cohen, to his association with international icons such as Drake, Björk, The White Stripes and Celine Dion, Don’s commitment to producing cutting-edge work has resulted in a string of prestigious awards in Canada, the US and the UK. His Leonard Cohen project, I Am A Hotel, won over a dozen awards, including the Montreux Rose d’Or, and was shown at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. In addition to his many Juno nominations and MMVA awards, Don has been inducted into the MuchMusic Video Hall of Fame.

Rupert is an editor, writer, visual artist, event producer, and content curator. After founding the Montreal Comic Art Jams, and contributing to Vice in its early stage, Bottenberg served as music editor of the Montreal Mirror, the city’s leading newsweekly, from 1998 to 2011. He then spent a decade as co-director of the En Masse collaborative visual art initiative, before returning to cultural media as co-founder of the bilingual music website PANM360. He is also the director of Axis, the animation section of Montreal’s Fantasia Film Festival. His 2012 book of graphic literature, Traumstadtdenken (Éditions Trip), won Quebec’s annual Bédélys IndépEndant award.

Sean is an award-winning producer/director who started his career as an animator and animation director. He brings years of complex VFX and animation production experience to the VR experiences created at Occupied. Occupied has produced more than 50 immersive and transmedia productions since the debut of Occupied VR in 2015. Notable projects include David Cronenberg’s: Body Mind Change, the Canadian Screen Award-nominated CUT-OFF VR, Sharkwater VR, Living with Jaguars, and the multiple award-winning VR experience, The Holy City. Sean has also produced documentary projects for Smithsonian Networks and the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum with Fiveson Entertainment. Over the last five years he has focused on defining production methods and workflows for Virtual Reality.
